Annual Mayor's Award
The Annual Mayor’s Award was established to recognize individuals who quietly go about serving the Town making Wendell a wonderful place in which to live, work, and raise a family. Founded by former Mayor Carl B. “Proc” Dean [1965-1971, pictured], this award honors persons not in the public eye, yet emphasizes the important role that these citizens have in promoting our community. The nominees will be selected by the Mayor’s committee and the winner(s) will be recognized and awarded at the Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
