Downtown Food Trucks
In October 2020, the Wendell Board of Commissioners adopted a Food Truck Policy for food trucks operating on public space in the DMX district of Wendell. The purpose of this policy is to serve and protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public; preserve the quality and enjoyment of residences and occupation of a site by a properly licensed business; and establish a uniform set of rules and regulations that are fair and equitable. The policy applies to food trucks operating on public property in the DMX Zoning District.
