Town Manager's Office

The Town Manager is appointed by Board of Commissioners to serve as the Chief Executive Officer for the town under the Council-Manager form of government. The Manager coordinates the activities of the various administrative and operating departments of the town, leads the budgetary planning process, assists the Board of Commissioners in developing public policy and provides staff support for the Mayor and Board of Commissioners.

The Town Manager serves as the Budget Officer, and prepares an annual budget for the Board of Commissioners consideration and adoption. He also facilities the Strategic Plan update, which occurs every other year.

Marvin "Marc" Collins has served as the Town of Wendell's Town Manager since 2019. 

The Town Manager's Office (or Administration) consists of the Town Manager, Assistant Town Manager, Communications Manager, Town Clerk, Human Resources Administrator, Economic Development Specialist, and IT Manager. 

We are proud of all of the dedicated and talented people we have working for Wendell. The employees of the Town of Wendell strive to meet the needs of citizens, who expect us to provide a high level of service. The Town employees help make this community a great place to live, work and visit.

The Manager's Office is located at 409 Landing View Drive and is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
