Wendell Parks and Recreation Track-Out Camp

Wendell Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that a new program, Track-Out Camp for students grades K-5, will begin on January 4, 2016! Camp will be held at the Wendell Community Center Monday-Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm. Campers must complete registration and participant forms that are available at the Wendell Community Center, located at 601 West Third Street, Wendell NC 27591. At registration a deposit of $25 is required to reserve your child’s spot in camp. Camp fees are $25 per day and the entire balance must be paid in advance prior to your child attending on the first requested date of Track-out Camp.
It is the goal of the Wendell Parks and Recreation Department to provide the children of our community and Eastern Wake County with a well-rounded experience that will be fun, exciting and educational. In order to meet this goal, we will be offering educational enrichment and tutoring through local resources, sports related activities, music, arts and crafts, field trips, movie days and many more interesting and FUN activities!
Our Track-out Camp will be offered on the following dates:

July 11-July 29, 2016
September 26-October 21, 2016
January 3-January 20, 2017
March 20-April 19, 2017

NO CAMP ON JANUARY 17, 2017 AND APRIL 14, 2017

Nature Trail Map

The Hugh T. Moody trail map can now be accessed by smart phone and tablet users by scanning the trail map QR code located in the Wendell Community Center and soon to be in the nature trail kiosk. This will give everyone access to the nature trail, without carrying a map.
