Welcome to one of the best kept secrets in Wake County. The Wendell Park Nature Trail is a welcome escape from the fast pace environment we are all accustomed to in our society. As you wind throughout the trail you will enjoy nature at it's finest. The Wendell Park Nature Trail is an excellent location for bird watching, spotting a wide variety animals in their natural habitats and exploring the many species of trees and plants. The Wendell Park Nature Trail offers over two miles of trails that are well marked with signs and trail markers. A newly constructed informational kiosk offers an on site trail map with current rules and regulations, as well as emergency numbers. We encourage you to come out and take a moment to relax and enjoy a nice walk throughout Wendell Park.
