Wendell Community Center
The Wendell Community Center is an 18,000 square foot facility located in Wendell Park at 601 W. Third Street. Opened in August of 2000, the community center has several different sized rooms and a 40 foot stage which make it the perfect place to host birthday parties, church events, family reunions, business meetings, quinceaneras, and weddings. There is always friendly Parks and Recreation staff on site that will be more than willing to help you in any way that they can. Gymnasium
The Wendell Community Center gymnasium can be rented for a wide variety of activities. Wedding receptions, dances, Birthday Parties, Church Events, Volleyball rentals, Basketball tournaments and practices, Holiday Celebrations and more.
Rental Prices include inside city limit residence prices and outside city limit residence prices. Inside city limits residence is referred to as living inside the corporate city limits. They also include during business hours and outside business hours prices. Business hours are Monday through Thursday 7am-9pm and Fridays 7am-5pm.
Gym Rentals:
Birthday package, kids 12 years and under. This includes the gym and room Activity B for 2 hours. Inside city limit residence $120.00. Outside city limit residence $140.00.
Gym & Stage:
Inside city limit residence during business hours: $65.00 per hour. Inside city limit residence after business hours $85.00 per hour.
Outside city limit residence during business hours $80.00 per hour. Outside city limit residence after business hours $100.00 per hour.
Cleaning charge may be added depending on type of event.

Activity Room B
Activity Room B is our larger activity room that will hold 50 people.
Prices:
Inside city limit residence, during business hours is $25.00 per hour. Inside city limit residence, after business hours is $45.00 per hour.
Outside city limit residence, during business hours is $50.00 per hour. Outside city limit residence, after business hours is $70.00 per hour.
Inside city limit residence is referred to as you residing within the corporate city limits. Business hours are Monday through Thursday 7am-9pm, Fridays 7am-5pm.

Activity room A is our smaller activity room and will hold 30 people.
Inside city limit residence, during business hours is $15.00 per hour. Inside city limit residence after business hours is $35.00 per hour.
Outside city limit residence, during business hours is $40.00 per hour. Outside city limit residence, after business hours is $60.00 per hour.
