Community Watch
The Police Department has been involved in forming two new community watch groups for Wendell. Historically, there have been two community watch groups - one group (in the Buffalo/Third Street area) was more active. One of the new community watch groups will be an expanded version of the Buffalo/Third Street group.
With the two new community watch groups, the town will be divided into north and south areas, using Third Street as a dividing line. The North will be coordinated by Lynn Pulley. The South will be handled by Tona Whitley. Citizens are encouraged to contact someone in their respective area to get involved.
