Spring Programs:
Youth T-ball Co-ed Program Ages 4 years old as of May 1st Fees: Residents $25 Non Residents $35
Youth T-ball focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun and rewarding atmosphere so that the particiapnts will learn skills that will prepare them for baseball and softball. All games and practices are held on Saturday's at the Wendell Parks T-ball fields.
Ages 5-6 Coach Pitch Baseball Co-ed Program Ages 5-6 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $25 Non Residents $35
5-6 Coach Pitch Baseball is designed to offer participants the opportunity to continue to learn the fundamentals but now offers hitting with the coach pitching. This program allows those kids who do not hit one of three coach pitches to hit off the tee. All games and practices are held on Saturday's at the Wendell Park T-ball fields.
7-8 Baseball Ages 7-8 as of May 1st Fees: Fees: Residents $35 Non Residents $50
7-8 Coach Pitch baseball is the first level of baseball where score is kept. Players are learning more advanced baseball running techniques and defensive situations. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
9-10 Baseball Ages 9-10 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $40 Non Residents $55
9-10 Baseball welcomes players to their first year of pitching, hitting player pitching and base stealing. Participants continue to learn about the proper techniques for baserunning, hitting and fielding. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
11-12 Baseball Ages 11-12 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $45 Non Residents $60
11-12 Baseball is more advanced at this level and players are expected to know the fundamentals of the game. Coaches continue to offer instruction on baserunning, pitching, stealing and defense. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
13-14 Baseball Ages 13-14 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $50 Non Residents $65
13-14 Baseball is the highest level of Baseball offered at the recreation level in Wendell. Coaches will continue to offer instruction on pitching, fielding, baserunning, and stealing. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
7-8 Girls Coach Pitch Softball Ages 7-8 as of January 1st Fees: Residents $35 Non Residents $50
7-8 Girls Softball is the first year that girls play together in the program. Coaches focus on teaching the fundamentals of fielding, hitting and baserunning. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
9-10 Girls Fastpitch Softball Ages 9-10 as of January 1st Fees: Residents $40 Non Residents $55
9-10 Girls Fastpitch Softball is the first year of girls pitching. Coaches continue to offer instruction on the fundamentals of hitting, baserunning and fielding. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
11-12 Girls Fastpitch Softball Ages 11-12 as of January 1st Fees: Residents $45 Non Residents $60
11-12 Girls Fastpitch Softball offers a more advanced level of fastpitch softball where pitching, hitting, bunting, fielding and baserunning. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
13-15 Girls Fastpitch Softball Ages 13-15 as of January 1st Fees: Residents $50 Non Residents $65
13-15 Girls Fast Pitch Softball is the highest level of fastpitch softball offered at the recreation level in Wendell. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
Girls Volleyball Ages 7-14 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $20 Non Residents $35
The Girls Volleyball program is unique program for Eastern Wake County. Participants are divided into three age groups, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-14. Coaches will offer age appropriate instruction on the fundamentals of the game. This will include passing, setting, spiking and serving. The program consists of practices and games that are held on Tuesday nights.
Fall Programs:
6-7 Fall Coach Pitch Baseball Ages 6-7 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $35 Non Residents $50
The 6-7 Coach Pitch baseball program is designed to introduce players to coach pitch baseball who are moving up from 5-6 coach pitch. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
8-9 Fall Baseball Ages 8-9 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $40 Non Residents $55
The 8-9 baseball program welcomes players to their first year of pitching, hitting player pitching and base stealing. 10-11 Fall Baseball Ages 10-11 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $45 Non Residents $60

Coaches continue to offer instruction on baserunning, pitching, stealing and defense. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
12-13 Fall Baseball Ages 12-13 as of May 1st Fees: Residents $50 Non Residents $65
In 12-13 Baseball coaches will continue to offer instruction on pitching, fielding, baserunning, and stealing. At this age base runners may now take a lead. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
The 6-7 Fall Softball program is designed to introduce players to coach pitch softball who are moving up from 5-6 coach pitch. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.

12-13 Girls Fast Pitch Softball is the highest level of fastpitch softball offered at the recreation level in Wendell in the fall. Practices are held throughout the week and on Saturday's while games are held during the week.
The Youth Basketball program offers children ages 5-17 the chance to learn the game of basketball and to continue to develop as a player as they advance in the program.
Wendell Community Center Programs
Free Gym Fees: No Fee Ages 12 and Under
Monday- Thursday 2:00-3:00pm
Free Gym is designed to give children ages 12 and under who are accompanied by an adult an opportunity for free play in the gym. All participants must sign in prior to participating.
Youth Open Gym Fees: Residents $5 Non Residents $15 Entitles participant to 15 visits
Monday and Wednesday 3:00-5:00pm Ages 9-12
Tuesday and Thursday 3:00-5:00pm Ages 13-16
This program allows participants to play basketball, volleyball or other organized activities in a supervised facility.
All participants must complete an Open Gym Registration Form prior to participating.
Weight Room Fees: Residents $10 per month Non Residents $20 per month
The Wendell Community Center weight room features universal weights and cardio equipment that includes treadmills, exercise bikes, rowing machine and other fitness machines. The weight room hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00am- 9:00pm and Friday 6:00-4:00pm.
Adult Programs
Senior Walking Fees: FREE
The Wendell Community Center opens it's doors Monday-Friday from 6:00am-11:00am for this exercise program. Participants really enjoy meeting with friends and exercising together. The Community Center is heated and cooled so it is always a popular place to exercise regardless of the time of year. Please come out and join us!
Zumba Fitness Fees: $5 per class
This program is taking communities by storm! Zumba fitness let's you dance yourself to a healthier you through exciting new latin moves and rhythyms. Classes are held on Tuesday nights from 6:00-7:00pm at the Wendell Community Center.
Co-ed Volleyball Fees: $250 per team Co-ed Six person league Equal number of girls to boys required
The Adult Co-ed Volleyball program provides volleyball teams with an opportunity to play competitve volleyball in a league format. Following regular season play teams will compete in an end of season single elimination tournament based on seeds from the regular season.
Church Softball League Fees: $575 per team
Church League teams can enter into this competitive league where team will play each team in the league once during regualr season. Following regular season there will be a single elimination tournament based on seeding. Teams must provide their own .44 cor 375 compression ball. This is a USSSA sanctioned league.
Church Basketball Fees: $575 per team
Church League teams can expect some fast paced, competitive basketball in this adult program. Games are held at the Wendell Community Center during the week.
Co-ed Softball Fees: $575 per team
Co-ed softball is a fun and exciting program for all adults regardless of age or gender. This program focuses on having fun and enjoying the game of softball. The catch is however, the guys must bat opposite handed and that is where it gets interesting to say the least. Come out and enjoy this program!
Adult Fitness Class: Fees: $5 per class
Beth Narron of Better Bodies by Beth offers a total body fitness and conditioning class on Tuesday mornings at 8:00am and Thursday mornings at 8:00am at the Wendell Community Center.
BootCamp: Free
Beth Narron offers a 45 minute fitness class that will give you a great workout! Wednesday nights at 6:00pm.
Bootcamp with Yate's Perry: $5 per class
Join Yate's Perry for Bootcamp class on Monday and Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. Meet at the Wendell Community Center.
