2012 Polar Bear Men's Wood Bat Softball Tournament
The Wendell Parks and Recreation Department will be holding the seventh annual Polar Bear Men's Wood Bat Softball Tournament on Saturday, November 3-4, 2012 at Wendell Park. The tournament has proven to be one of the most unique and absolutely the most fun tournament to play in. The challenge of playing the game with a wood bat brings in teams every year who want to see how they can play the way our father's and grandfathers did before the introduction to aluminum, alloy or composite bats. The best thing about it is that teams with strong defenses can come in and have a chance to win in what are usually low scoring games.
