Wendell Water Main Replacements Improvement Project

Construction News  Please pardon our dust! The City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department is undertaking an improvement project for Wendell Water Main Replacements!   

The City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department hired Moffat Pipe Inc. to construct the Wendell Water Main Replacements Project. MPI will replace the existing water and sewer mains along the following Streets: Golden Creek Tr, Singletree Ct., Todd Ln., W Mattox St., E Mattox St., Woodgreen Dr., Dogwood Tr, W Hester Ct., E Hester Ct., W First St., Parrish Ct., E First St. W Third St., E. Third St., N. Cypress St., Campen St., Southwood Ct., E Second St., Kemp St., Hall St., Bobbitt St., Rosewood Ct., Stratford Dr., Tobacco Alley and the Alley parallel to N. Main St.

Monday, December 10th - MPI plans to begin work at Tobacco Alley and the Alley Parallel to North Main Street off of Third St.

As construction progresses in Wendell, MPI will give notices approximately seven days before moving to the next area. Hours of work will be between 7 AM and 5:30 PM Monday thru Friday. If night work is needed the hours of work will be between 8 PM and 6 AM. MPI will coordinate with the Town and residents by providing notifications.

MPI will have traffic and pedestrian control devices in place between 7 AM and 5:30 PM and will provide access to all residents or businesses along these corridors during road or lane closures. “No Parking” signs and cones will identify the immediate work area. Please understand that no one is allowed within the immediate work area. Safety is first and foremost! MPI will make every effort to minimize impacts while exercising precautions at all times for the protection of persons and property. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.
