East Wake Education Foundation
East Wake Education Foundation was started in 1993 with a mission that would ensure every child enters school healthy, motivated, and ready to succeed. More than half of the families that we serve are low- income high risk. Our weekly activities are designed for the parents and children. Skills that we work on with the children are listening, symbol and sound recognition, and writing practice. Our hope is for the parents to recognize teachable moments, and work on these skills at home. All of our services are offered free of charge to any family in Eastern Wake County and surrounding counties! For more information visit us at www.eastwakeeducationfoundation.org or call us at (919) 366-5901.
