PUBLIC NOTICE

Due to the weather, and for  the well-being of our attendees and staff, this evening’s Wendell Town Board meeting is cancelled.  Items on the December 10, 2018, agenda will carry to the Monday, January 14, 2019 Board meeting agenda [NC GS 160A-81]. 

The public will take notice that the Wendell Board of Commissioners has scheduled a public hearing on Monday, December 10, 2018 January 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wendell Town Hall, 15 E Fourth Street, to consider a Zoning Text Amendment to Chapter 9 of the UDO as it relates to exceptions to roadway infrastructure improvement requirements.

Interested parties and citizens shall have opportunity to speak and may obtain additional information on request from the Town of Wendell Zoning Administrator, 15 E. Fourth Street, Wendell, North Carolina 27591.

The public will take notice that the Wendell Board of Commissioners has scheduled a public hearing on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wendell Town Hall, 15 E Fourth Street, to consider a request by Smith-Edwards, LLC to rezone 115.74 acres of property located along S. Hollybrook Road and identified by PIN Numbers 1783921299 [48.38 ac], 1793020954 [6.84 ac], 1783837560 [.47 ac], and 1783947008 (partial) [60.05] to a Residential-4 (R4) Conditional District. The described properties are currently zoned Residential Agricultural (RA) and R-30 (Wake Co.). Property descriptions are available at the Wake County Register of Deeds Office in DB 12538, Pg 162, DB 13847, Pg 1368, and DB 17037, Pg 1239.  Continued to the Monday, November 26, 2018 meeting.  Approved on 11/26/2018 as R-4 Conditional District with conditions.

Pursuant to NC GS 160A-31, the public will take notice that the Wendell Board of Commissioners has scheduled public hearings on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Wendell Town Hall, 15 East Fourth St for the purpose of considering annexation petition requests for the following described territory:

  • Four contiguous parcels located at 0 Wendell Falls Parkway. Parcel 1 is 17.58 acres, PIN 1783-38-8411; Parcel 2 is .69 acres, PIN 1783-38-1700; Parcel 3 is .55 acres, PIN 1783-38-5088; and Parcel 4 is 0.12 acres, PIN 1783-38-9601. Descriptions of the parcels are available in Deed Book 17014, page number 502 and Deed Book 17014, page number 515 as recorded at the Wake County Register of Deeds Office. Approved 10/8/2018
