The Tuesday, Feb 26th meeting permits the EDC members to participate in the Downtown Focused Economic Development discussion. The Downtown Focused Economic Development dialog is facilitated by the North Carolina Department of Commerce. This is an opportunity for EDC members to assist in crafting the Town’s economic positioning and vision statement for the Town of Wendell.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to NC GS 160A-58.2, the public will take notice that the Wendell Board of Commissioners has scheduled a public hearing on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Wendell Town Hall, 15 East Fourth St. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider an annexation for the Town of Wendell for the following described territory:

A .4-acre parcel at 2412 Wendell Blvd; PIN Number 1784-16-1389 and is available in Deed Book 17170, Pages 359-361, Wake County Registry.

Citizens may speak and may obtain additional information from the Town of Wendell Zoning Administrator, 15 E. Fourth Street, Wendell, North Carolina 27591.

Public Notice

The public will take notice that the Wendell Board of Commissioners has scheduled a public hearing on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wendell Town Hall 15 E Fourth Street, to consider a Zoning Map Amendment request to rezone 5.38 acres located at 719 Marshburn Rd (PIN # 1784532377) from Residential-3 (R3) to Neighborhood Center (NC). The Wendell Board of Commissioners reserves the right to change the existing zoning classification of the area in question or any part or parts thereof to a more restrictive general zoning classification without the necessity of withdrawal or modification of the petition.  [Will come back to the 2/25/2019 Board meeting for a second reading.]

Interested parties and citizens shall have opportunity to speak and may obtain additional information on the request from the Town of Wendell Zoning Administrator, 15 E. Fourth Street, Wendell, North Carolina 27591.
