The Town of Wendell Economic Development Department is pleased to announce Steve Smith will perform for the “Uncover the Arts Wendell: Third Thursday Art Walk” on Main Street from 5:30 to 7:00 on April 21, 2011. The Wendell Chamber of Commerce will also host an opening reception for Sidney Baynes from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Chamber Building.

“We are so excited to feature such great talent for the April Uncover the Arts,” said Economic Development Coordinator Maggie O’Neill. Steve Smith started at as a songwriter in 2000. He performs acoustic guitar at local coffeeshops and small bars around the county. Recent gigs include Deep South the Bar, Electric Beanz, Guess Rd Starbucks, The Pour House, The Berkeley Cafe and Holly Springs Cultural Center with artists like Jason Adamo, Adam Pitts, Chris Titchner and Mike Garrigan. A studio album titled "Steve-ing the Story", recorded at Two Egrets Media and Recording and produced by Mike Garrigan, is available now on cdbaby.com and iTunes.
