The Administration Department of the Town of Wendell consists of the Town Manager Teresa Piner, and Special Assistant to the Manager-Town Clerk Sherry Scoggins.
The Town Manager is appointed by Board of Commissioners to serve as the Chief Executive Officer for the town under the Council-Manager form of government. The Manager coordinates the activities of the various administrative and operating departments of the town, leads the budgetary planning process, assists the Board of Commissioners in developing public policy and provides staff support for the Mayor and Board of Commissioners.
The Special Assistant to the Manager is responsible for executive support duties requiring attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and abilities in problem solving, research, and special assignments.
The Town Clerk is responsible, among other things, for keeping all of the records, files and minutes of the town. (Agendas and minutes can be found online under the “Town Board” section of this web site.)
The Town Engineering services are provided by A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc.
The Town Legal services are provided by Cauley Pridgen P.A.
