Welcome to one of the best kept secrets in Wake County. The Hugh T. Moody Nature Trail at Wendell Park is a welcome escape from the fast pace enviroment we are all accustomed to in our society. As you wind throughout the trail you will enjoy nature at it's finest. The Hugh T. Moody Nature Trail is an excellent location for bird watching, spotting a wide variety of wild animals and exploring the many species of trees and plants. The Hugh T. Moody Nature Trail offers over two miles of trails that are well marked with signs and trail markers. A newly constructed informational kiosk offers an onsite trail map with current rules and regulations, as well as emergency numbers. We encourage you to come out and take a moment to relax and enjoy a nice walk throughout Wendell Park.
